We’re looking for community groups to rally together across October to be part of our Big Autumn Collection to help us make a real difference for people experiencing homelessness in Edinburgh.
For the whole of October, we’re asking for your donations of homeware and bric-a-brac. Your preloved homeware, like frames, crockery, and ornaments, are some of our biggest sellers at Edinburgh Furniture Initiative, and they help us raise vital funds for our homeless accommodations, including our women’s refuge and supported living for young people.
This is a great chance to declutter your own home while helping others.
It’s simple: just reach out to your group members and encourage them to gather their unwanted homeware to donate to us.
The Inverleith Swifts netball team and the West Side Chorus community choir have already started collecting.
Every group that participates will get a shout-out on our social media!
