Beautiful homes and good jobs:
- We will source a new building for our Number Twenty service;
- Source funding to buy flats to replace those we rent for Keymoves;
- Source longer term funding for Springboard and a wider employability offer;
- Analyse the gaps in service provision for people experiencing homelessness in Edinburgh and create pilots to address those gaps;
- Building on our Very Good grades from the care inspectorate and move to Excellent Services.
Enhance community:
- Promote volunteering opportunities and good jobs to local people;
- Develop plans and a funding model to regenerate a local site with a re-use village;
- Build our profile and income through fundraising and events which sit within our ethos.
Financial independence:
- Grow our social enterprises;
- Keep our organisational spend lean, agile, planned and informed;
- Diversify our contracted income;
- Pilot partnership opportunities to supply and promote our re-use furniture shop.
Impactful people and impactful work:
- Fully developing our in-house person development programme: Impactful People;
- Embed a high performing culture with a coaching approach at its heart;
- Review our employment offer to attract and retain good people;
- Ensure all our work has impact and we can measure and evidence it.
Speak up and share:
- Locate Four Square as a leader in the area of homelessness and re-use;
- Use our social media to promote our social enterprises and our views;
- Use our evidence of impact to innovate new ways of working and pull in funding;
- Be networked in a way that we can learn and influence decision making;
- Share our expertise and consider other areas that might benefit from our services.
