Mentoring Programme

Supporting young people towards education, training and employment.

We support up to 30 young people in Edinburgh who have experienced or are experiencing homelessness. Many of these young people come from our own accommodation services such as Stopover, My Space and Number Twenty, but we also support young people outside of our services.
Our project lead works with each young person individually to find out what they want to achieve and what barriers they might face getting there.
We provide incentives such as trips out and vouchers and we help with the things that seem small but can be huge, like paying for passports so young people have photo ID; or sourcing courses on dressmaking if that’s what someone wants.
