The Skandi Magic Box
Using a combination of hinges and runners, this rare Danish workstation folded up into a compact box. The perfect combo of midcentury and practicality.
The Antique Cast Iron Headboards
They’re giving bedknobs and broomsticks. These ornate headboards weighed a tonne and were steeped in old-world charm. An eagle-eyed customer snapped them up for their Edinburgh home.
The Painted Grandfather Clock
Dare you to look at this handpainted grandfather clock and not smile! Beautifully ornate complete with swinging heart pendulum. It found its new home where it will be a talking point and spread sunshine.
The 80’s Day Bed
We were delighted when this Italian leather chaise longue was generously donated. It’s retro elegance made it a real crowd pleaser and a customer quickly spotted its snooze potential snapping it up.
The Sparkly Disco Ball
A box of donated bric à brac revealed glittering treasure – a perfect wee disco ball! This is now pride of place in a south-facing tenement where it can sparkle in the sun adding a touch of fun to our customer’s home.
The Historic Steam Trunk
Oriental Express vibes. We often receive trunks but this one was a particular beauty with its brass hardware and labels. Nowadays, these trunks make lovely coffee tables or blanket boxes.
